"Roots" is a collection of works by Eva Saukane, a female photographer from Latvia. He studied photography at the University of Mid-Sweden, has held numerous exhibitions mainly in Europe, and has been selected as a finalist for the Harriban Award. This book is the first book that was inspired by the time when I was doing research on "photo albums" when I was doing an internship at a museum in Latvia when I was in college. The camera left by my father, who is now gone, has been left unattended for over 20 years, and the film has been damaged. However, when I carefully maintained it and printed it, the portraits of my father's family emerged. Due to the pain of the film, the unclear and hazy illustrations seem to represent a "family strange past" that is unclear to me. It's a family album that summarizes the inevitability that was born from the coincidence that is similar to Daisuke Yokota. Limited to 800 copies. (How We See Photobooks by Women)
