"Le Jardin de Poussiere" is a photo book of French photographer Bernard Pross. Born in Vietnam in 1945, grew up in Paris, and when he was young, he was influenced by American counterculture and aspired to become a film maker. A genuine artist who has the image and story sensibility that he learned through the images, and when he was 13 years old, he was the first photographer to travel and recorded the scenery of the Sahara Desert. Since then, while traveling to the United States, Mexico, Asia, Africa, and Europe, I have been taking snapshots of the people and landscapes I met on the road for decades. Translated literally, this book is a collection of photographs of the desolate American land, as the title "Dust Garden" suggests. The dry scenery of rocky mountains, scattered vegetation, and rugged rocks in the wasteland will impress you with the magnificence of nature's sculpture. This is a scale book that cuts out the texture of the earth, which is a bit different from the concepts such as natural beauty and new topography found by Ansel Adams.
