"Third Printing, With OBI" is a collection of works and photographs by Luigi Ghirri, a pioneer of Italian color photography. The London publisher MACK has reprinted his classic photo book "Kodachrome", published in 1978, and Luigi Ghirri's popularity has been rekindled both in Japan and overseas. He has a deep knowledge of art, architecture, music, etc., and his original photographs, which capture ordinary everyday life with vivid colors and unique compositions, are no wonder that he has many fans among photographers and artists, including masters William Eggleston and Wim Wenders. This book is a translation and Japanese version of the original book "Lezioni di Fotografia", which is a compilation of the records of photography lectures that Luigi Ghirri gave at the Project University in his hometown of Reggio Emilia from 1989 to 1990. This valuable collection of materials contains a detailed summary of the essence of Ghirri's camera work, including 87 illustrations. The translation is by Yumi Kayano, who is also known for her translations of Bruno Munari's books such as "Fantasia," "Artists and Designers," and "Mono kara Mono awareru." This is the third printing.
