"Taratene (Signed)" is a collection of works by one of Japan's leading contemporary photographers, Daisuke Yokota. In the 1960s and 1970s after the war, Tomatsu Shomei, Daido Moriyama, Takuma Nakahira and others protested against traditional realism photography, creating and directing new works. Their ideas were realized through their activities in "Provoke", Moriyama's "Goodbye Photography" and Nakahira's "For the Words to Come". However, the individuality of the processing and printing through the randomness of the images is unique to Yokota, and among Yokota's works, this is a book that somehow feels unusual and human.
