A collection of works by Shoji Ueda, one of postwar Japan's leading photographers, ``Shoji Ueda: The Trajectory of Images. 1913-2000''. Masaharu Ueda's name was well known in the photography world as he had been published in numerous camera magazines since before the war, but it was in 1970 that Shoji Yamagishi, the editor-in-chief of Camera Mainichi, supervised Shoji Yamagishi, the editor-in-chief of Camera Mainichi, that brought Masaharu Ueda's name to the national stage. He was nominated for the photo collection ``Modern Video Series (10 volumes, 10 photographers)'' released in the early 1990s, and is said to have done so since the publication of his collection ``Doreki.'' At that time, there were many hard-touch works such as those by Provoke, but his carefully calculated, tranquil style of ``silence'' was very fresh and distinctive. Also, we cannot overlook the foresight of Shoji Yamagishi who selected Ueda as one of the limited 10 people. This book is a collection of works published by the Shoji Ueda Museum of Photography in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of his birth, and includes 276 works including representative works, as well as a rich text in the "Materials" section (mainly published in magazines) at the end of the book. It becomes.
