A collection of works by Japanese photographer Kazumasa Suda "Landscapes with Chimneys". Issei Suda, one of the leading photographers of post-war Japan who passed away in March 2019. Issei Suda, who reflected the actual situation from a folklore perspective. The depiction, which can be said to be magical using 6x6, creates a unique worldview where the ordinary and the extraordinary intersect, sometimes making you feel the atmosphere of another world that is eerie and frightening. This book is a collection of works composed of landscapes with a "chimney" motif. Since his father ran a slate company (which is also used for chimney materials), Suda has been familiar with chimneys since he was a child, and whenever he sees chimneys, he would release the shutter. Along with economic growth, the number of buildings increased and chimneys decreased, and the meaning of collecting photos of chimneys, which are now rare to find, was also a nostalgia for the Showa era. This is the last book I have compiled since I was alive. (A case for the special edition is included. However, the print is not included.)
