A collection of works by Japanese painter and illustrator Toshio Saeki (1945-2019) "Akaihako Scarlet Saeki Toshio Coloring Book". Born in Miyazaki Prefecture and raised in Osaka. Although he worked as an illustrator at a commercial design studio for several years, he felt uncomfortable with the reality of being invaded by commercial design, and became a freelance illustrator. Influenced by Tommy Ungerer's work, which he admired, his humorous works with erotic and horror motifs were highly acclaimed. After being praised by Shuji and Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, it was featured in the popular magazine "Heibon Punch" at the time, and in 1972, it was also featured on the jacket of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's album "Sometime in New York City".
