"Wild Flowers" (2021, Signed) is a photo collection by Joel Meyerowitz, a leading figure in American new color photography. Inspired by his work with art director Robert Frank, Meyerowitz decided to become a photographer. He subsequently ventured into color photography of street and landscape scenes, establishing himself as a color photographer since the 1970s and producing numerous masterpieces, including "Cape Light" and "St. Louis and the Arch." This is Meyerowitz's third book on the theme of flowers, a long-awaited revised edition of the first edition published in 1983. The flowers blooming in the streets, parks, and cities he visited and found joy in range from natural blooms to floral dresses, floral curtains, floral hair ornaments, and floral tattoos. When we look at them in this way, we can feel that our lives are richer and more beautiful. Here, we can see his gardens. This book has been re-edited from the first edition and includes new illustrations.
