"Tights" is a collection of works by Daido Moriyama, a leading photographer in postwar Japan. The photographs of Daido Moriyama, who was a graphic designer before becoming a photographer, are "design-like." When he was young, he was drawn to the graphic monochrome contrast drawn by William Klein and Shomei Tomatsu, and established his own style through his activities at Provoke and his masterpiece "Goodbye Photographs". Also, as I admit, I was greatly influenced by the style of pop art master Andy Warhol, and through the act of "copying", I became more familiar with "design" and "art". It was also a "designer" that made me feel good. This work "Tights" is a stylish copy of "woman" and "eros" that such photographers have used as motifs for many years. The first appearance is from the series "How to Make Beautiful Photos" serialized in "Photo Age" edited by Akira Suei in the 1980s. Limited to 500 copies. The book design is Issei Kitagawa.
