A collection of works by Mao Ishikawa and Toyomitsu Higa, who are representative photographers of postwar Okinawa, "Hot Days in Camp Hansen !!". In 2013, a newly re-edited "Hot Days in Okinawa" (Foil) was published, but this is the original. It is co-authored by Toyomitsu Higa and Mao Ishikawa, who have been leading Okinawa photography, inheriting the genealogy of the leaders of postwar Okinawa photography such as Yasuo Higa and Koshichi Hirara. Even after returning to the mainland, the Americanized city remains, and Ishikawa, who was enthusiastic about taking pictures of the nights of the U.S. forces, worked at a foreigner bar himself and even made a boyfriend of the U.S. military, gradually became more than a foreigner. I was fascinated by the beautiful and strong appearance of the women working there, and the point of the camera was aimed at them. A masterpiece that passionately captures the appearance of a woman who lives strongly for the sake of life and love, although the appearance of working with a foreigner is sometimes seen with cold and harsh eyes. However, pages of P7-8 and P57-60 have been deleted due to privacy issues after publication. Text by Shomei Tomatsu, Nobuyoshi Araki and Yoko Tokuda. Obi missing.
