Photobook "Paris" by Ihei Kimura, one of Japan's leading photographers. Among the 50,000 photo books of "Paris" in the world, it is a collection of works that is highly evaluated worldwide as one of the masterpieces. Ihei Kimura took off to Paris (including other European countries) three times in 1954, 1955, and 1960. This book is composed of full-length color plates that are different from the monochrome Paris captured by masters such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, and Robert Doisneau, who represent France with whom they interacted. At first, he couldn't express the pictures he expected due to unfamiliar light and climate, so he continued to shoot in a chaotic environment. I continued to capture it, and as a result, a new work that was different from the traditional style of Ihei Kimura was born. Paris, which was captured by a photographer on a journey with a high tension, with a fresh feeling, is pale and beautiful. Published in 1974 by photographer Kazuo Kitai's representative, Norasha, this book is also the last photobook left by Ihei Kimura in his lifetime.
