A collection of works by Japanese photographer Tsutomu Yamagata "Ten Disciples (First Edition, Signed)". Graduated from Keio University Faculty of Law, Department of Law. After spending time as a company employee until his mid thirties, he took off and became a photographer. After studying at a workshop sponsored by photographer Satoru Watanabe, in 2012, she released a portrait collection "Kokushi Musou" shot at the Ueno Shinobazu neighborhood, and this work is the second. At the time of the birth of his own child, when his father's cancer was found and the doctor began treatment with a Western medical approach, Yamagata sought a treatment with an Oriental medical approach. Then you will come to Tamagawa Onsen in Akita. The rocks in this hot spring have a high radium content and require radiation therapy, so many cancer patients visit and soak in the area like a bedrock bath. Yamagata, who was interested in the mysterious sight of life and death, went to the area after that, and visited about 30 times in 5 years and repeated shooting. A wonderful book in black and white depicting the floating aspect of reality and unreality. A revised new edition was released in 2016, but this is the first edition published in 2015. Limited to 300 copies. Signed by the photographer .
