A collection of works by Japanese photographer Kiyoji Otsuji. Many of Japan's leading post-war photographers have published many masterpiece photobooks that have been handed down to the present, but in Otsuji, there is no masterpiece that many photographers know. However, not many photographers are so well known that they have left such a large footprint in the photographic world. From the 1950s after the war, under the influence of Surrealist representative, Shuzo Takiguchi, he collaborated with artists, musicians, designers, and announced avant-garde works that transcend the boundaries of photography. Many co-productions have been announced. He also taught at Kuwasawa Design, Tokyo Sogo College of Photography, University of Tsukuba, Musashino Art University, etc., and has many famous photographers such as Yutaka Takanashi, Takao Niikura, Shigeo Ushigusa, Naoya Hatakeyama, Nobuko Shioda, and Fusako Kodama. I also write a lot for various photo magazines and photo books. This book is a catalog published at the exhibition held in Tokyo Gallery in 1987. In addition to 8 illustrations (“The Last Chapter”, “Dot / Line / Drawing”, “Aircraft II”, “Ice Crest”, “Opening Run II”, “Shinjuku Ekimae Mukashi”, “Sunset Night IV”, “Tokyo Mukashi I”), A separate volume written by Shiro Suzuki is also included.
