Photo book "Portrait of Tibet" by Japanese photographer Shinya Arimoto. After graduating from Visual Arts College, held an exhibition "Human Town" at the Guardian Garden Gallery, and was later attracted by the human nature of the Tibetan people who met when traveling to India and Nepal, and stayed there for a total of six months. It takes about 500 days to shoot Tibet. This book is Arimoto's 1st photo book composed of portraits of Tibet taken over many years and won the 35th Taiyo Prize. At the time of the shooting, many towns in Tibet were unopened areas for foreigners. Even though the shooting was illegal, even staying there, a number of illustrations were recorded while repeatedly impersonating a local and hitchhiking. A masterpiece of portrait work that reflects the high spirituality and dignity and dignity of Tibetans who live strong and strong in a harsh natural environment.
