A photo book by Japanese photographer Shinzo Shimao and others, ``The New World / Number Photo Book (Acceptable)''. This book is the 8th issue (total of 12 issues) of the photo doujinshi "number", which was published in the 1970s by Shinzo Shimao and other members of the film and photography department at Tokyo Zokei University. The six initial members were Shinzo Shimao, Satoshi Seno, Toshihiro Nishihara, Toshio Kawashima, Hide Umezu, and Keibu Kamitake, and they were commonly known as the "Takanashi Seminar Students," and at the time the university campus was barricaded. It is said that he visited the office of Yutaka Takanashi, one of Japan's leading photographers, in Nogizaka, and sought advice and guidance while conducting his activities. With the exception of a few issues, the magazine basically had no theme and was published with a different editor in charge each issue. Many foreign magazines and doujinshi were published in this era as a place to present new expressions in new places, going beyond the traditional framework of camera magazines, Nika awards, APA awards, and Taiyo awards. However, in addition to this series, ``number'', other books such as ``La Main'', ``Glass Eye'', and ``Monthly Photobook Jihei'' are also worth seeing.
