"These are days," a photo collection by Japanese photographer Miki Hara (1967-). After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Literature in 1990, Hara studied photography at the Tokyo University College of Photography. In 2014, he participated in the exhibition "In Focus: Tokyo" held at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles with Daido Moriyama, Shigekazu Nagano, and Masato Seto, and won the 42nd Kimura Ihei Award in 2016. It is one of the photographers who gather. This book is the second book following "Hysteric Grammar" published "Hysteric 13: Hara Mikiko" and was published by Osiris, who is known to photography enthusiasts for his work on Takuma Nakahira. Hara states that "the camera is a device that can slowly pick up something that people can not make conscious of, rather than visualizing the photographer's thoughts, as it is" (from this book). As it appears in the vague title, it is a series of everyday fragments, such as a record of an unrequited journey. The characteristic snaps of the photos of the original are continued, and the rhythm is felt emotionally. The design is Issei Hattori.
