Lithuanian-born painter and photographer Moi Ver (real name Moshé Raviv-Vorobeichic)'s photo book "Paris". Martin Parr, a Magnum Photos photographer and collector of over 10,000 photobooks, asked, "What would you choose if your house was on fire and you could only bring out two photobooks?" The answers to the questions were "Kikuji Kawada / Map" and "Moi Ver / Paris". Moi Vert initially aspired to be a painter, studied under Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, and Josef Albers at the Bauhaus in the 1920s, and then studied photography. This book is a reprint of the original photobook, which was published in 1931 and is now very rare, and was published in 2004 in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. This avant-garde photo book that makes full use of this montage is regarded as a timeless masterpiece that had a great influence on the later photography world. The text is French.
