"Sao Paulo notes" is a photo book by George Really Love, a photographer born in the United States and active in Brazil. Love was born in North Carolina in 1937 and started photography in New York from the age of 20. In 1966, he traveled to South America, and in the early 1970s he met and collaborated with Claudia Andujar, a Brazilian female photographer who later became his wife. And in 1978, in partnership with Andujar, we publish one of the most famous masterpieces in the history of photography, the 20th century, Amazonia. He also worked on editing photo magazines and holding exhibitions at museums. This book consists of illustrations of São Paulo taken by Rab from 1966 to the early 1980s. Rather than a Latin style with strong primary colors and contrasts, this group of works has a unique sense of composition and coloring, similar to Saul Leiter and Louis Faurer, who were born in the United States and were active in the same era. This is a very rare collection of works included in The Latin American Photobook edited by Horacio Fernandez. Limited to 500 copies.
