This book is a set of issues 1 through 4 of the nude magazine "Bi-Monthly Photographix Super G / Super G," published in the 1990s. Based on the concept that "nudes and women must be fresh," "Super G" strived to improve and reinvent "never-before-seen nude photographs" that went beyond commonplace hair nude photography. With Shigeo Goto as editorial director and Koichi Hara as art director, both prominent figures, the magazine produced works that set it apart from typical nude magazines. The participating artists included Takashi Homma and Yurie Nagashima, who spearheaded the new photography boom of the 90s. Nagashima, in particular, was quick to publish her first collection of works, "Self-Portrait," the following year, 1995. Her images, which differed from conventional nudes from a male perspective and possessed a woman's assertion for women, were valuable because she reportedly refused all offers to be published in nude magazines. Rare nude works by Takashi Homma are also worth seeing.
