"Private3 / Hajime Sawada Photobook: Forest Doll Museum: Nadia" is a photobook by Hajime Sawada, one of Japan's leading photographers. After graduating from the Department of Photography at Nihon University College of Art, he worked at the Japan Design Center before becoming a freelance photographer in 1966. Since then, he has been active as a fashion photographer for numerous famous magazines, and in the 1970s, he gained attention for his innocent, beautiful, and sometimes fantastical portraits of girls and women, including his representative work "Girl Alice," which continues to be reprinted in recent years. Since the 1980s, he has continued to be active on the front lines, mainly focusing on the works of artists and idols. This book is the third in the "Private" photobook series, which was published as a special issue of Camera Mainichi in the early 1970s, following "Private Life: Mariko Kaga" by Yoshihiro Tachiki and "EMMA: Emma Sugimoto" by Shunji Okura, and is Hajime Sawada's first book. "Nadia" is based on the Italian model Nadia Galli, whose work was serialized in Camera Mainichi for nearly a year and also included in the Asahi Sonorama photobook series. Cover design by Seiichi Horiuchi. Layout by Shoji Yamagishi. (Included in Japanese Photobooks of the 1960s and '70s).
