"American Parody (Signed)" is a photobook by Japanese photographer Takashi Shinsho. Born in Tokyo in 1936, Shinsho worked as a graphic designer in the 1960s and personally took photographs as part of his training. One of these photographs caught the eye of photo editor Shoji Yamagishi, with whom he had a working relationship as a designer, and was published in "Camera Mainichi" in 1969, after which he transitioned to becoming a photographer.
