This is a photobook by American photographer Alex Webb. Webb had been seriously pursuing photography since high school, participating in workshops with masters like Bruce Davidson. After enrolling at Harvard University (majoring in history and literature), he studied at the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts within the same institution, and after graduation, he began his career as a journalist. In 1979, he became a full member of Magnum Photos, and he continues to be a prolific photographer, producing works to this day. Set in Mexico, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Africa, Webb's depictions, created with bold compositions, strong contrasts in color, and skillful use of light and shadow, contain a strong journalistic message, and he is considered a pioneer of "color journalism" from a different perspective than "New Color." This book focuses on the UFO incident near an air force base in Suffolk, England in 1980, commonly known as the "Rendlesham Forest Incident," and is an unusual work among Webb's works, tackling the strange facts from various perspectives as a photojournalist.
