"Tai-do: Japanese Bodybuilders (First Japanese Edition)" is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Yato Tamotsu. After serving as a male trainee at the Takarazuka Revue, Yato Tamotsu was affiliated with Nikkatsu and also worked as an actor. While Yato is known for photographing Yukio Mishima, his connection with Mishima was first established through his partner, Meredith Witherby, who translated Mishima's "The Sound of Waves" and "Confessions of a Mask."
