"Limit 2nd" is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Kazuma Uogaeshi. He once photographed female college students on the streets of Shibuya for the magazine "Hot-Dog PRESS," which was popular among young people. Since then, he has mainly created portraits of amateur women as models, and also worked in the commercial world, taking photos for the TV show "Iron Chef," which was explosively popular on Fuji TV in the 1990s. Rather than the "manufactured world" that is common in commercial photography, the photos capture the reality of the women in question, while also offering a glimpse into the photographer's imaginary (delusional) world. This book is the second in the series, Limit, published in 2001. The models are ordinary women whom the photographer himself scouted on the street, and the tension shown by the inexperienced women and the extraordinary feeling seen in the everyday world create a large-format collection of works that exude Uogaeshi's unique worldview.
