Labyrinth (Signed), a photo collection by Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama. Following in the footsteps of postwar Japanese photographers Shomei Tomatsu and Eikoh Hosoe, Daido Moriyama began working as a freelancer in the late 1960s, presenting conceptual works as a member of the group Provoke, which included Takuma Nakahira and Yutaka Takanashi. Since then, Daido Moriyama has left behind many memorable works, including Nippon Gekijo Shashin Cho (Nippon Theater Photo Album) and Goodbye Photography, and established himself as one of the most popular Japanese photographers in the world, along with Nobuyoshi Araki. This book is a collection of works published in 2012, consisting of contact sheet prints that the photographer himself reconstructed based on negatives taken over the past several decades. This unique and interesting collection of works offers a glimpse into the unknown side of Daido Moriyama through his contact sheets, such as the mystery lurking behind his masterpieces, the photographer's "gaze," "thoughts," and "space." Limited to 1,000 copies.
