Carlo Scarpa's Tomba Brion is a photo book by Italian photographer Guido Guidi. Guidi is one of Italy's leading photographers, having worked with Luigi Ghiri and others in the same era, and has published many co-authored works with Ghiri. During his university years, he majored in the course of renowned architect Carlo Scarpa and studied industrial design. Furthermore, Guidi's style, which has been influenced by neorealism and contemporary art, is conceptual and artistic, although it is mainly landscape. Guidi's work is fascinated by his sharp sensibility for color, as he composes illustrations and pagination based on various fundamental, essential, and multi-layered thoughts that could be called "architectural thinking," and perceives the subject as "design-like." This book is a collection of images of the "Brion Family Cemetery" designed by his teacher Scarpa. It is a collection of wonderful images that make you think, "As expected."
