A Place of Our Own (Signed) is a collection of works by Israeli female photographer Iris Hassid. Hassid studied political science at Tel Aviv University and photography at the School of Fine Arts, and is currently a freelance photographer. Born to a diplomat's daughter, she has traveled and sometimes lived in various parts of the world, and her experiences of having various thoughts about the culture and identity of her own country and other countries seem to have had a major influence on her current lifestyle and work.
