Prazsky Hrad is a photobook by Josef Sudek, one of the most famous Czech photographers of the 20th century. Sudek is an indispensable figure in the discussion of the Czech art scene, which is also very popular in Japan. He is an artist who has continued to create new images from everyday scenes, from landscapes such as "panoramas" depicting the original scenery of the Czech Republic, forests and gardens inspired by nature, illustrations capturing castles and Baroque architecture, and still lifes that skillfully incorporate light and shadow captured in his studio and its surroundings, to artistic works that give a glimpse of the influence of surrealism, to breathtakingly beautiful poetic still lifes.
