1983 YMO Japan Tour Chaos is a collection of works by the group YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra), which dominated the music industry around 1980. The trio of ultra-unique artists, Haruomi Hosono, Yukihiro Takahashi, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, was a pioneer of the techno-new wave movement that made full use of synthesizers and computers, and was extremely popular, but they disbanded just five years after their formation, and their existence became legendary.
