A collection of works by Josef Koudelka, one of the leading photographers of the 20th century. This is a catalogue published on the occasion of an exhibition held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo from 2013 to 2014. In the early days, he worked on theater and theatrical photography, and while he gained recognition for his unique approach, he also gained experience through his activities in gypsy settlements in the Czech Republic, which culminated in the 1968 "Prague Spring" (introduced anonymously at the time and awarded the Robert Capa Award). After becoming an exile, he continued to travel around Europe, taking photographs and publishing them as "Exils / Exiles," as well as panoramic landscapes such as those seen in "Chaos" and "Wall." He firmly established his position. This book is a catalogue published on the occasion of an exhibition held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo from 2013 to 2014. The above-mentioned works are presented in chronological order. Published in 2014, second edition.
