"Mizugi" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Osamu Yokonami. After graduating from Osaka Visual Arts, he worked in the photography department of the Bunka Publishing Bureau before becoming independent. Osamu Yokonami is a photographer who continues to be active in fashion photography for high-end brands such as GINZA, SPUR, and Soen, portraits of famous artists, and corporate commercials. Since 2000, he has been actively engaged in his own creative activities, releasing conceptual works such as the ``Children'' series, which respects the individuality of individuals, and the ``Assembly'' series, which conversely suppresses individuality. I continue to do so. This book is a collection of works published by a publisher based in Sweden and France, and as the title suggests, the motif is "swimwear." The facial expressions of the women who are the subjects are not captured at all, but only the back view, fragments of their bodies, and the unique poses and movements of the "group" are captured. This is a wonderful book that gives you a sense of the personality and individuality of the photographer, with its clean, transparent and gentle illustrations, while also having a feel of the ``Children'' that Kishin Shinoyama photographed in the 1990s. First edition, limited to 500 copies.
