Dimension of Vision is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Toshitsugu Yamawaki. Born in Tokyo in 1956, he also works as an art director, and began full-fledged creative activities as an artist in the 2000s, releasing a series of private photo books in the 2010s. The diversity of thought and expression has an appeal that differs from that of traditional pure photographers, and the unique sensibilities that he has cultivated through self-taught photography, painting, and even direction work can be felt throughout his work. This is Yamawaki's first book. Changes in daily life and thinking following the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011. ``Dimension means a way of thinking, a point of view,'' and the key point is how to interpret the elements, searching for the point of expression and returning to the subject. From there, draw out latent images and invite thinking. That is my approach this time. (Omitted) The purpose of this series is to multiply the diversity of objects by the diversity of expression and construct a global worldview.'' (From the afterword)
