This book is a record of a war over the Soviet Union and Lithuania. After World War II, Lithuania was incorporated into the Soviet Union and came under its complete control. In order to change the passports of residents from Lithuania to Soviet Union specifications, the new government set up a small studio where they simply took portraits of people.
