Nobuyoshi Araki is one of Japan's leading photographers, who has published over 500 photo books and is highly acclaimed worldwide. He started photography under the influence of his father, who was a geta maker and an amateur photographer, and after graduating from the Department of Photo Printing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University, he got a job at Dentsu. While taking advertising photographs, he used the company's equipment to explore new forms of photographic art, and since the 1970s he has released sensational works such as ``Oh Japan'' and ``Sentimental Journey.'' This book "Tokyo Eros" is a photo book published in 2006. As the cover says, ``The city, married women, and eroticism are swirling around'', you can see symbolic buildings of Tokyo such as Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, and Ginza Mitsukoshi, as well as alleys and shopping streets full of the downtown atmosphere, people passing by, and children playing in the park. This book is composed of snapshots of Tokyo such as these, as well as photographs from ``Married Woman Eros'' (serialized in ``Weekly Taishu''), which is known as Araki's life work, as shown in the text at the end of the book. Kazushi Suzuki's dynamic layout, in which one bleed-out photo is used on each page, and both vertical and horizontal positions are familiar from Araki's photo books. Signed and illustrated by the photographer .
