Empty White Room is a photo book by Yurie Nagashima, one of Japan's leading female photographers. In 1993, when she was a 20-year-old art student, Yurie Nagashima made a spectacular debut when she won the Parco Award at the Tokyo Urbanart #2 Exhibition for her series of nude portraits of her family. I moved to the United States in 1995 and studied at the California Institute of the Arts while photographing the skating scene and road culture. In 2000, he won the Kimura Ihei Photography Award for his photo book ``PASTIME PARADISE'', which is a collection of photos taken from his university days (simultaneous winners were HIROMIX and Mika Ninagawa). In recent years, he has also been active in writing, winning the Kodansha Essay Award (2010) for his collection of short stories, ``Memories on My Back,'' and is an artist with excellent literary talent. This book is the second book published in the same year, following the first self-portrait collection ``YURIE NAGASHIMA'' (Fuga Shobo) published in 1995. An intimate book that captures friends who have been around since their school days. A reprint of the handwritten letter is included. Missing obi.
