Japanese photographer Hajime Sawatari's photographer "Girl Alice (New Edition) / Alice (New Edition)". After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Photography, worked as an assistant for Yutaka Takanashi before becoming a freelancer. Since then, he has been active as a fashion photographer in numerous famous magazines, and in the 1970s, he published innocent, beautiful and sometimes fantastic portraits of girls and women, such as "Mori no Ningyokan", "Nadia", and "Girls from the Sea". Hajime Sawatari, whose name resounded in the 1980s, has continued to be active on the front lines, focusing on the works of artists and idols since the 1980s. This book is a new edition published in 1991 of the memorable first photo book. Created with the motif of Alice in Wonderland, modeled after Samantha, a 10-year-old girl who was selected in an audition held in Alice's hometown England, the book was filmed entirely in England. Planning and editing by Shigeo Kuwabara, book design by Seiichi Horiuchi, introduction by Shuzo Takiguchi, and poetry by Shuntaro Tanikawa. In 2014, a special edition containing unpublished works was also announced.
