"Oh Japan" is a photo book by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. Araki has published more than 400 photo books since the 1960s. Instead of formal "art", "photography artist" who continued to pioneer a new frontier of art through photography, with "freedom", "unconventional" and sometimes "good". The works, represented by nudes with various techniques and snaps full of human emotions, caused extreme controversy at times, but only in the case of Araki who continued to fight art. This book is a substantial virgin work published the same year as the masterpiece "Sentimental Journey". Illustrations reminiscent of the title "Oh Japan" are not included. Graphically designed works that photograph naked women in various poses and make full use of sequences and montage. The photographer's determination to pursue a new photographic art, and the solution as a way of expressing it, are depicted through illustrations, opening a hole in the photography and art of Japan. A collection of early works with a strong will to do this.
