Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki's photo book "Oh Nippon". Araki has published more than 400 photo books from the 1960s to the present. Rather than a formal "art," he is a "photographer" who has continued to explore new frontiers of art through photography, being "free," "unconventional," and sometimes "sloppy." The group of works represented by nudes with various techniques and snaps full of humanity were radical and sometimes caused various controversies, but it was because of Araki who continued to fight art. This book is a substantial maiden work published in the same year as the masterpiece "Sentimental Journey". The illustrations associated with the title "Oh Japan" are not recorded, but a group of graphically designed works that shoot naked women in various poses and make full use of sequences and montages. Through the illustrations, the photographer's "determination" to pursue a new photographic art, and the "solution" as a method of expression for that purpose are depicted, opening a hole in "Japanese" photography and art. A collection of early works with a strong will to do this.
