A collection of photographs by Japanese photographer Seiryu Inoue. A documentary photographer born in Tosa City, Kochi Prefecture, who studied under master Takeji Iwamiya in the 1950s and began taking photographs in the Kansai region, greatly influencing Daido Moriyama. Settling down in Kamagasaki, one of Japan's leading doya districts, interacting with the locals, and depicting the harsh daily life and human drama of the locals, this work was published in 1961 as One Hundred Views of Humans - Kamagasaki, and was the 5th Nippon Shashin. It won the Critics Association Newcomer Award and Camera Art Newcomer Award. After that, he became a lecturer at the Department of Photography, Faculty of Arts, Osaka University of Arts, following in the footsteps of Iwamiya. This book is the first in a series of photobooks published by the collection brand "Hysteric Glamor" and is composed of the works of "Kamagasaki". A social human story about Kamagasaki, where photographers fell in love with humans so much that they wanted to cry, and hated them so much that they wanted to die. Limited to 500 copies.
