A collection of works by Japanese photographer Osamu Nagata "New York Blues 1980-1982 (Signed)". Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1953, moved to Tokyo to attend university, then studied photography at a photography school in Kobe before going abroad. While backpacking, he traveled around Asia and Africa to take pictures, then moved to New York for three years, then moved to Mexico for a little over three years before returning to Japan. After working in a studio, I am working as a freelancer. This book is a collection of works composed of illustrations taken during the three years in New York. In terms of era, it overlaps with Keizo Kitajima's "New York", which won the 8th Kimura Ihei Photography Award, but stars such as Warhol and Mick Jagger also appeared, and many underground scenes are included, making it a unique port. In contrast to Kitajima's works, which receive a lot of ratings, the New York that Nagata sees is centered around ordinary people, such as Harlem families. Pogsing boy decorates the cover and the end of the page. Here is the 'Another New York' of the 80's. Limited to 300 copies. Signed by the photographer .
