Japanese photographer Manabu Maruhashi's photo book "Aru Seishun: Record of Part-time High School Girls / The Springtime of Life: The Record of Female Night School Students (Signed)". Born in Gunma Prefecture in 1924, Maruhashi became a teacher at a part-time high school (later a part-time girls' school) in the prefecture after graduating from university. Part-time students arrive at school after 5:00 in the evening and return home at 9:00, so there is not much time for teachers and students to interact with each other. Therefore, Maruhashi, who was trying to be with the students as much as possible and close the distance with them, gradually began to point his camera at them, which had been his hobby. This book is a collection of works published in a private edition in 1977, and contains contact with students at a part-time girls' high school in Marubashi. At first, she was a part-time teacher who started out as a stepping stone to become a full-time teacher. When asked why he only takes pictures of students, he replies, "Because I really like students." . This is a masterpiece that records the youth of a teacher and his students who are full of such pure love.
