"Tokyo Nude" is a collection of works by Kishin Shinoyama, one of Japan's leading photographers. From the 1970s to the 1980s, Nobuyoshi Araki teamed up with Akira Suei to create "Weekend Super" and the explosively popular "Shashin Jidai". The gravure series "Geksha" with motifs of models, idols and actresses became a hit, and the photo magazine "Sharaku" centered on Shinoyama was born. Shinoyama's masterpiece of the 80's, which he worked on in parallel with his commercial activities, is "Sinorama." As the name suggests, it is a coined word that combines the name of Shinoyama and "panorama", but it is a technique that captures objects with multiple eyes by making full use of multiple cameras. It is an excellent technique for photographing the (major) cities undergoing drastic changes in the 1980s, and Shinoyama has presented works set in New York and Tokyo. This is "Tokyo Nude", which can be called a "Tokyo Sinorama", mixing urban scenery and women (nude), and showing the city of Tokyo naked.
