"I do I do I do (Acceptable)" is a photo book by Taiwanese photographer Chiang-Chi Chang. After graduating from a university in Taiwan, he went to the United States and studied education at Indiana University, then trained in photography at National Geographic. Since then, he has been based in the United States as a photographer for the Seattle Times and the Baltimore Sun, and has been following immigrants in Chinatown in New York for over 10 years, winning the Eugene Smith Award for his photographs, and becoming a full member of Magnum Photos in 2001. Since 2000, Chang has been actively working on social issues in Taiwan, and this book is a collection of works that cover Taiwanese weddings. Chang has consistently photographed immigrants and the mentally ill, with themes of "bonds" and "connections" between "human beings," "family," and "culture," but in this book, he documents the intimate bonds and connections between the bride and groom, their families, and their friends, based on "men and women/couples/families." This is a collection of works that is typical of Magnum photographers, with unique perspectives, innovative compositions, and a mix of personal and social elements.
