A collection of works by Japanese photographer Isao Yoshida, "Elephant / Syo". Born in Osaka in 1926, Daido Moriyama, Yasushi Sugino, and Nagaki Arino studied under Takeji Iwamiya, a leading photographer in postwar Japan who has produced numerous photographers in the latter half of the 1950s. In 1963, he also formed a group of photographers, "Cloud", with Shoji Ueda, who is also a representative of postwar Japan and is now highly regarded worldwide. This is a collection of works published by AIM PRESS, a publisher run by Arino mentioned above, and is a ZINE-like book published in the same format as the "Kansai Photographer Portfolio" series. A total of 17 illustrations are included, and it is a book that is fascinated by the monochrome landscape.
