"Whistle for the Wind" is a photo book by Ryan McGinley, one of America's leading photographers. Born in New Jersey in 1977, McGinley, who has admired artists and musicians since he was a teenager, turned to photography after studying graphic design at Parsons. Created works with street subculture motifs influenced by Larry Clark and David Armstrong, and self-produced "The Kids Were Alright", which attracted the attention of industry insiders and became the youngest artist ever to enter the Whitney Museum of American Art. Held a solo exhibition at McGinley's American Dream. After that, through travels across the United States, etc., he changed his style to unrealistic production photography against the backdrop of nature, creating a "utopia." This book is McGinley's retrospective following the previous year's "You and I". Reprint.
