"Concorde" is a photo book by Wolfgang Tillmans, a German-born, UK-based photographer. Since the 1990s, he has been attracting attention with his work in magazines such as iD and Interview, and in 2000, he won the prestigious Turner Prize. Tillmans is an artist who continues to expand his field of work, going beyond the boundaries of youth culture inspired by London and fragmented depictions of everyday life captured with his unique perspective and sense, to film production, installations, abstract fine art, and more. His style of cutting out familiar subjects from a new perspective, combined with the trend of real clothes, continues to receive high support from fashionistas. This book is composed of illustrations of the now-defunct supersonic aircraft, the Concorde. Tillmans, who was interested in astronomy and whose imagination was always stirred by space and airplanes, writes about "traveling in the sky." This book is a condensed version of Tillmans' sense, with outstanding composition, beautiful color depictions, and a documentary-style story structure. Published in 2008, 4th edition.
