"Zaido" is a collection of works related to Jizo, a Japanese female photographer. Born in Tokyo. After graduating from music college, he experienced a wide range of occupations such as designers while producing TV commercials and providing music to artists as a composer and arranger. Started full-scale activities as a photographer around 2013, and participated in the first "RPS Photobook Master class" presided over by Yumi Goto, who is currently attracting a lot of attention from home and abroad for his guidance in photobook production. The dummy produced there won the "The Steidl Book Award Asia 2016" and was published by Steidl on a sunny day. The "Zaido" has been held in the mountain villages of Tohoku since 1300 years ago. The author, who visited the area at the behest of his father who stood on a dream pillow, overcame many years by touching on this traditional ritual, landscape, and the depth of human ties, which became extremely rare in modern Japan. I put the weight of this shrine through the lens while superimposing it on my own life.
