"Intimacy" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Eiki Mori. Born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture in 1976, graduated from the Department of Photography, Parsons University of Fine Arts in 2001. Eiki Mori. In Japan, where the intimacy between men is still seen as different, I convey through photographs that it is "everyday", "natural", and "great act". This work, which was released following the explosively popular "Tokyo Boy Alone" published in Taiwan, spelled out their loneliness and the future they envisioned through portraits of young people living in a studio in Tokyo, is the 39th. (2013) Kimura Ihei Photo Award work. The photographer himself chronologically arranges about a year of becoming friends, intimate, and lovers with a man he met through a 35mm snap, and summarizes it like a "diary". It's as if I wanted this kind of homosexuality to be "everyday." There are many works overseas that describe love between men, but while there are many images of relatively hard men, such "soft" and "intimate" love is fresh and very beautiful.
