A photo book by Yoichi Midorikawa, one of Japan's leading photographers, "Osaka Nostalgia-A Town of the Common People Half a Century Old-". Yoichi Midorikawa, an amateur photographer representing Sanyo, along with Shoji Ueda, an amateur photographer who is proud of Sanin, who has deepened his friendship throughout his life. Born in Okayama prefecture, he is a photographer who has been pursuing a beautiful landscape with the motif of the Seto Inland Sea overlooking while working as a dentist. He made a fantastic color work that made full use of multiple exposure and solarization, and was described as a "color magician". Midorikawa has a strong impression of landscape photography, including his masterpiece "Setouchi Umi" (1962), but in the early days of his activities, he left behind many works such as portraits, nudes, and snapshots of women. "Practical photography skills-" has been announced, but this book is a book composed of monochrome snapshots taken in Osaka in the early 1950s. It was compiled in 2001 as a collection of works, but it is a book that seems to be a condensed version of "Showa" and "Osaka" left by Tadahiko Hayashi and Seiryu Inoue.
