A collection of works by British female photographer Shirley Baker (1932-2014). Born in Kersal, Salford, Manchester, he studied photography at the prestigious University of Manchester Institute of Science, and after graduating he worked as an industrial photographer at the Courtors fabric factory. After that, he became a freelancer, working as a journalist in magazines and newspapers, and even teaching at the University of Salford. Two collections of works were published during his lifetime, which were published at the exhibitions held in 1989 and 2000, and the year after his death, a solo exhibition was held at The Photographers' Gallery in London. This book was published by MACK, edited by curator Lou Stoppard, and includes snapshots taken in various parts of the world, including Japan, as if it summarizes the changes in lifestyles and people in England after the war. It is studded with parts. There are many wonderful works in both monochrome and color.
